Kathy Staples - May 20, 2007

We have contracted to have Kathy Staples give us her new lecture The Scottish Presence in American Sampler Making--or Travels from the Netherlands to Tennessee. Merry Cox Workshops - August 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2006
Mark your calendars for the return of Merry Cox to the Atlanta area August 23 – 26, 2006 ! Merry’s visit will be co-sponsored by The Sampler Guild of Georgia and The Magnolia Sampler Guild. Each guild will sponsor two workshops and members will be eligible to take any or all of the workshops offered. Fees will be submitted to the guild sponsoring the particular class.

Optional bag for the Diminutive Sewing Box that Merry has recently designed, and we are offering it to you at our cost.

We have now booked the meeting space for the Friday and Saturday Merry Cox classes. The Friday "Necessaire" class will be at the Merchants Walk Library, 1315 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, Georgia, 30068. Phone 770-509-2730. 

The Saturday "Diminutive Sewing Chest" will be at the Cobb County Central Library, 266 Roswell Street, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Phone 770-528-2320. You may wish to retrieve directions from Mapquest since you all will be coming from different directions. 

The time frame for the Friday class is 9:30-4:30. Saturday's class is 9:30-4:30 for the box, and 4:30-5:30 for the optional bag.
